Youth Apprenticeship Program (YAP)
The program is an innovative initiative of Campus Himpact Hub designed to transform the landscape of vocational and technology skills training in Nigeria by connecting trainees and skilled artisans together.
It is set-up to bridge the skills gap, enhance employability, foster entrepreneurship, and create a skilled youth workforce that meets the evolving demands of both technical and digital economy, thereby contributing to the sustainable economic growth of Nigeria.
The program is aimed at developing the next generation of productive and competent skilled workforce, innovators, and entrepreneurs that aligns with the dynamic labor requirements and entrepreneurial skills that contributes to the sustainable economic growth of Nigeria.
It is a platform for participants to learn theoretical and practical knowledge of selected skill with selected skilled partners / artisans and facilitators, undergo internship experience, showcase viable projects, receive certification, and get job placement with businesses and organizations. It also equip participants with skills to establish business ventures.
